 le attività di ricerca da lui svolte e in corso di svolgimento.Titolo:Math
 ematical Properties of Equilibria in Nonatomic Congestion GamesAbstract:Eq
 uilibria in congestion games describe how traffic distributes over a set o
 f resources whose utility/cost is negatively affected by congestion. In pa
 rticular\, the nonatomic variants of these models consider the setting in 
 which an individual user of the resources controls a negligible part of th
 e total traffic. Examples of these phenomena can be found in a road or tel
 ecommunication network\, as well as in the assignment of jobs to different
  service providers. In this seminar\, we will present the more commonly us
 ed mathematical models and discuss the speaker's recent contribution to so
 me results concerning the mathematical properties of equilibria. Weil also
  present a few open problems in the area.Short bio:Valerio Dose is an Assi
 stant Professor (RTDA) in the Department of Computer\, Control and Managem
 ent Engineering 'Antonio Ruberti' of Sapienza University of Rome. He obtai
 ned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata' wit
 h a thesis in Arithmetic Geometry. He was a postdoc at INdAM ((Istituto Na
 zionale di Alta Matematica) and at LUISS University\, where he began his r
 esearch journey in Applied Mathematics at the Department of Economics and 
 Finance. He has been publishing in both Pure and Applied Mathematics in se
 veral internationally renowned journals such as Mathematical Programming\,
  European Journal of Operational Research and the Proceedings of the Ameri
 can Mathematical Society. His research areas of interest span from game th
 eory to combinatorial optimization to arithmetic geometry.
